Delivery Information
We’re pleased to offer New Zealand-wide delivery at a standard courier fee of $12.00, with an extra $5.00 charge for rural addresses. This covers most items however oversized or heavy furniture and homeware items will incur additional shipping costs—get in touch for a tailored quote. Please note that deliveries to Great Barrier Island, Waiheke Island, Stewart Island, and the Chatham Islands are not included under the standard rate. If you are purchasing from outside of New Zealand, email us on hello@homematters.co.nz to discuss delivery fees.
We aim to get your order to you as soon as possible. For most orders, delivery to the North Island takes 2–3 business days, and to the South Island 3–5 business days. Deliveries to more remote or rural locations may take a little longer. If you’re ordering furniture, please allow up to 10–14 days for delivery.
Please track your parcel regularly to stay updated on delivery attempts or courier contact. If you haven’t received your parcel within a reasonable timeframe, don’t hesitate to get in touch — we will investigate and track it for you.
Note that couriers require a physical street address for delivery; unfortunately, PO Boxes aren’t an option.
If you’d like your parcel left somewhere safe when you’re not home, please include any delivery instructions and where you’d like the parcel to be left in the ‘Comments’ section during checkout.
Online Order Pick Up In-Store
When placing your order online, you can choose to pick it up from our store at checkout. You’ll receive an email notification when your order is ready, usually within 24 hours. Please bring your confirmation email (digital copy is perfect!) when you come to collect.
